Fetching Feathers Shipping & Return Policy

At Fetching Feathers, we stand behind the gear we put our name on. Whether it’s a hat for the field or a sticker for your rig, we want to make sure you’re satisfied with your order. Because we are a working kennel and training facility, we appreciate your patience as we get your gear out the door between training sessions.

Shipping Information

  • Carrier: All orders are shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service).

  • Processing Time: Please allow 3–5 business days for order processing. We are often in the field or working with dogs, but we do our best to get orders out as quickly as possible.

  • Processing Times May Be Delayed During Hunting Seasons. We will contact you with expected shipping times if this is the case.
  • Tracking: Once your label is created, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can follow your gear from our facility in Larkspur to your front door.

Payments

All payments are processed securely through Square. We accept all major credit cards and digital payment methods supported by the Square platform.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be proud to wear the Fetching Feathers logo. If there is an issue with your order, here is how we handle it:

  • Timeframe: Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date.

  • Condition: Items must be in their original, unwashed, and unworn condition. We cannot accept returns on gear that has been used in the field or covered in dog hair.

  • Return Shipping: Unless the return is due to an error on our part, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund.

  • Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method via Square.

  • Please note that it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank’s processing times.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Shipping Damage & Errors

We take pride in how we pack our gear, but we know the road can be rough.

  • Damaged Goods: If your item arrives damaged, please take a photo of the packaging and the product and email us at info@fetching-feathers.com within 48 hours of delivery. We will make it right.

  • Incorrect Items: If we sent you the wrong size or the wrong item, let us know immediately, and we will ship the correct item out at no additional cost to you.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Fetching Feathers is not responsible for packages once they are marked as "Delivered" by USPS. If your package is lost in transit, please contact USPS directly to file a claim.
